As the students prepared for the weekend, nothing could have given them more excitement than seeing snowflakes fall near the end of the day. This is one of those times when flexibility comes into play in the classroom. Plans tend to change and we find things to do that are almost as exciting as the snow falling...well, I don't think anything could come close for the students, but we do take on some activities and games that kept everyone excited! And the best part was, the students thought it was a surprise "game day", when really they were practicing their math facts and reviewing their prefix and suffix words!
I hope everyone has a great weekend of snowy fun, and is able to stay warm (and hopefully getting in a little reading too)!!!
